EASY PEASY DESI BREAD PIZZA
Pizza is loved by all age groups but often the making process is elaborate and requires many ingredients including sauces and cheese. Here is Easy Peasy Desi Bread Pizza with all the ingredients that are easily available at home. Yes it taste varies from the authentic Pizza we eat outside but it can be quick remedy to solve your Pizza Cravings. You need it Spicy Apni Green Chutney which is readily available in most Indian homes. When it comes to veggies you can take any of your choice.
In this Pizza I have taken boiled baby corns and boiled corns. Raw Onion, Tomato and Capsicum. If you don't like raw then you sauté Onion, Tomato and Capsicum in butter with mixed herbs for 2 mins. But since the recipe is quick so I have finely chopped Onion, Tomato and Capsicum. Trust me this can be fun evening snack or even dinner option for the family when you are bored of cooking.
Ingredients:
Cooking time: 30 mins, No of servings: Family
- 4 slice of White or Brown bread (choice is yours)
- Finely chopped - 2 Onion and Tomato and 1 Capsicum
- Half cup of boiled baby corns and boiled corns (Boil it in 1 cup of water with salt and pinch of turmeric powder)
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon of Mixed Pizza flavour herbs and some chilli flakes (You can take fresh basil as well)
- 1/2 cup of Spicy Green chutney
- 1/2 cup of tomato ketchup
- 2 to 3 Amul or any cheese cubes
- Butter to toast the bread
Method:
Step 1:
- Finely chopped - 2 Onion and Tomato and 1 Capsicum
- Half cup of boiled baby corns and boiled corns (Boil it in 1 cup of water with salt and pinch of turmeric powder). Strain the water and cool it down
- In a big bowl add finely chopped - 2 Onion and Tomato and 1 Capsicum, Half cup of boiled baby corns and boiled corns
- Add slight salt, mixed pizza herbs, chilli flakes and mix all the veggies well
- Heat the bread on the tawa. Make the bread crispy on one side. Then close the gas.
- Now apply green chutney, put the veggies, put ketchup and cheese
- On the gas, heat the pizza for 2 to 3 mins, you can cover the tava if want more melted cheese.
- Serve the Pizza hot by cutting the bread into two triangles
- As I mentioned before you can also sauté the veggies and take any veggies of your choice. The process of sauté of veggies will be:
- Heat the oil in a pan add the veggies like onion, tomato, capsicum, corns etc.
- Add mixed herbs and chili flakes and cook on low flame for 4 to 5 mins
