Spinach Pasta 

Healthy version of Spinach Pasta with No butter No cream No Maida No Cheese




Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cup Penne Pasta
  • ½ bunch of Spinach leaves
  • 7-8 crushed garlic
  • 2 green chilies
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon of Snapin mix herbs
  • 1 teaspoon of Wheat flour
  • 1 cup of boiled corn, carrot, beans and capsicum (optional)

Method:

  • Boil water, add salt, few drops of olive oil and keep pasta for boiling. Once it gets half boiled after 15 mins or so add veggies of your choice.  I have added boiled corn, carrot, beans and capsicum (optional)
  • Once the pasta and veggies are boiled.  Strain the water and keep it ready 
  • Boil water in another pan, add spinach leaves, salt, garlic and green chili. Boil it for 5 to 7 mins and transfer the spinach into cold water 
  • Remove the garlic and green chilies and crush it. Drain the water of the spinach and make the fine puree
  • In a pan add olive oil, heat it, add garlic chili paste, add spinach paste, chili flakes, mixed herbs and simmer it. 
  • Add 1 teaspoon of wheat flour and mix well.  After 2-3 mins add pasta and veggies.  Mix all well and cook it for 5 to 7 mins.  
  • Your pasta is ready to serve it by garnishing with herbs and chili flakes
