Shallow Fry Vegetable Cutlet (No cornflour added)
Enjoy the heavy rains with these shallow fry vegetable cutlet. This cutlet has goodness of the veggies and no cornflour. Coated with Rava or sooji.
Ingredients and Method:
- 4 boiled potatoes
- 1.5 cup mixed vegetable - I have taken finely chopped capsicum, French beans and grated carrot (You can add any vegetables of your choice)
- 1 cup rava or sooji
- 2 tablespoon dhania leaves
- as per taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Spices - of garam masala,
- 1/2 teaspoon dhania jeera powder,
- pinch haldi
- 1 teaspoon green chili, garlic and ginger paste (You can also add the chopped ones)
- 4 tablespoons oil
- as required Tomato ketchup to serve
- In a pan first add 2 tablespoon of oil, add green chili, garlic and ginger paste and saute it for few mins
- Add chopped veggies, salt and close the lid, put water on the top of the lid and cook the veggies for few mins...It will take 5 to 7 mins
- Once the veggies are cooked, mash the boiled aloo separately and add it to veggies mixture. Now add all the spices and dhania leaves and mix everything well and cook for 4-5 mins
- - Take the mixture in the plate and cool it down completely. Heat the tawa, add oil and roll the cutlets in the heart shape.
- Pour the Rava in the plate, roll the cutlets in the Rava and shallow fry the cutlets on the tawa on the low to medium flame on both sides. Serve it with ketchup
