Gujurati Meal - Methi Thepla, Sukha Chana Masala and Aam Chunda
This is a very easy and famous Gujurati Meal. This can be tasty even when it is cold so you can carry this while travelling as well.
Methi Thepla:
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of haldi powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chill
- 1/2 teaspoon of dhania jeera powder
- 1 teaspoon of white til/sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoon oil
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup of tablespoon of methi leaves (If you don't have methi leaves you can substitute it with 2 tablespoon of kasuri methi as well)
- 1/2 cup of dhania leaves
Method:
- In a bowl add wheat flour and all the above spices, salt, add oil and water and make the dough
- You can also add garlic if you like. I prefer not to add it. If you don't have methi leaves you can substitute it with kasuri methi as well.
- Heat the Tava and roll the thepla. Cook the thepla like a paratha wherein you get some oil while flipping
- Serve hot or cold with Sukha Chana Masala and Chunda

- ½ teaspoon of mustard seeds
- Pinch of Hing
- Pinch of Haldi powder
- 2 teaspoons of dhania jeera powder

- Add Hing, haldi and red chili powder
- Add Chana after draining the water. If you want thin curry then add some water. This version I have not added any water
