DIWALI  Special - BOMBAY ICE HALWA

BOMBAY ICE HALWA is a popular sweet enjoyed during Diwali. It is thin sheet made of up different flavours and topped with dry fruits. In Mumbai the Mohanlal S Mumbai Mithai Wala's Ice Halwa is very famous. Now it is easily available in all the sweet shop but the interestingly ICE HALWA is not that complicated dessert and can be easily made at home. Yes it does call for some efforts unlike other zatpat wale sweets.

Here I am sharing the recipe of the ICE HALWA I tried during lockdown Diwali. Note I have not added any colours or preservatives except for few drops of Vanilla Essence but that is also optional. It gives it a nice taste hence added.  You can add colours and make it of different flavours like rose, kiwi, orange etc. Do try this recipe and make ICE HALWA at home and save money because making this sweet at home calls for easily available home ingredients like Maida, Milk, ghee and sugar.
