Aloo Capsicum Sukhi Sabzi with Mix Flour Masala Dhebra
This is quick easy and yummy meal. The Sukhi Sabzi of Aloo and Capsicum is favourite of most of us. And enjoying it with Mix Flour Masala Dhebra makes it more tasty. Making of Dhebra varies across Gujrati Households. Here is one more version from my side. Do try it and share your feedback.
Ingredients:
For the Sabzi:
- 2 medium size boiled Aloo
- 1 big Chopped Capsicum
- Salt to taste
- 1.5 tablespoon of oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of rai and jeera
- Pinch of hing
- 2 Pinch of Haldi
- 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon of Dhania jeera powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of Garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon of Kasuri Methi
For the Mix Flour Masala Dhebra:
- 1/2 cup bajra flour
- 1/2 cup wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon of besan (optional)
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon of Dhania jeera powder
- 1/2 cup of chopped methi leaves
- Pinch of hing
- 2 Pinch of Haldi
- 2 to 3 tablespoon of oil
- 1 tablespoon of Sesame seeds to tap on top
Method:
For the Sabzi:
- Chop the capsicum finely and peel, smash two Aloo.
- In the boiled mixture add salt of the Aloo portion, 1 tablespoon of Dhania jeera powder and 1/2 teaspoon of Kasuri Methi. Mix well and keep it aside
- Heat the pan in the oil add 1/2 teaspoon of rai and jeera and once it crackle a pinch of hing
- Add 2 Pinch of Haldi, 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder in the tadka. Add capsicum and salt only of capsicum portion. Mix well. Cover the lid and cook on low flame till capsicum becomes soft.
- Add garam masala, Aloo mixture. Mix well and cook for 2 mins and your sabzi is ready.
For the Mix Flour Masala Dhebra:
- In a big bowl add 1/2 cup bajra flour, 1/2 cup wheat flour, 1 tablespoon of besan (optional), Salt to taste, 1/2 cup of chopped methi leaves, 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder, 1 tablespoon of Dhania jeera powder, Pinch of hing and 2 Pinch of Haldi
- Prepare the dough like Roti and make small pieces
- Make small round shape with hands, you can use some water to tap, lastly put sesame seeds on top of it
- Heat the tava add 1 tablespoon of oil and put the 3 to 4 Dhebra. Cook it on low flame on both sides like you make the Paratha
- Additional stuff that can be added in Dhebra - Chopped coriander leaves if you don't have methi, crushed garlic can also be added
